Virginia Barcones attends the Mass in honor of Santa Rosa de Lima de Venta de Baños

• The patrona venteña has made a parade through some streets of the municipality before a liturgical mass is celebrated in the parish church that bears her name

August 23, 2023.- The delegate of the Government in Castilla y León, Virginia Barcones, has attended the Mass in honor of Santa Rosa de Lima, patron of the town of Venta de Baños. She was invited by the mayor of the town of Venteña, José María López Acero.

The Mass in honor of Santa Rosa de Lima is one of the most representative acts of the festivities of Venta de Baños. The event begins with a parade of the patron saint between the sports pavilion and the parish church itself, a procession that culminates in the celebration of the liturgical act. At the end of it, the traditional vermouth takes place in the social center Santa Rosa.

The Venta de Baños parties began last Thursday and continue until today. They stand out for the quality of their verbenas, the diversity of activities and the involvement of their citizens in the organization. In fact, Venta de Baños has 18 rocks that are in charge of collaborating with the City Council in the implementation of activities.

During the festivities, the importance that the train has had in the history of Venta de Baños with various acts that involve adults and children is taken into account.
