July 28, 2023.- The General Director of the Civil Guard, Leonardo Marcos, has visited the Command of Burgos and the Historical Photography Center of the Civil Guard that will soon become operational.
The Director-General, during his visit to the Burgos Command, met with those responsible for the Civil Guard, who explained to him the tasks they carry out, what has been their evolution in recent years, as well as the perspectives and plans for the future.
In April of last year 2022 began the creation of the Historical Photography Center of the Civil Guard (CEFO) in the Command of Burgos, which is included as one more part of the actions related to the museums of the Civil Guard. It is expected to become operational soon and will house photographs of both public and private collections.

The Burgos Civil Guard is organized into four Companies, one Main Post and 29 Ordinary Posts, which cover the security of 97.61% of the territory of the province. In addition, the Command currently has more than 600 agents.
The Burgos Command, to serve its entire demarcation, has units of Citizen Security, USECIC, Judicial Police, Seprona Information, Weapons Intervention, Traffic Group, Teams @, Viogen and Roca, among others.
