July 21, 2023.- The staff of the National Police of the province of Burgos has received the incorporation of 17 policemen in practices of the Basic Scale, who have completed their training in the National Police School of Ávila. Of the 17 trainees (13 men and 4 women), seven students served in Burgos, five in Aranda de Duero and five in Miranda de Ebro. In the whole of Castilla y León there will be 107 students in practices that are incorporated from the new promotion.
They have been received in the offices of the Provincial Commissariat by the subdelegate of the Government in Burgos, Pedro de la Fuente, by the provincial commissioner of National Police, Jesús Nogales, police commanders of the Provincial Commissariat of Burgos and by officials of the local commissariats of Aranda de Duero and Miranda de Ebro.
The Government’s deputy delegate greeted the new officers whom he congratulated on the election they made on the day they decided to join the National Police. "You are going to be part of a Corps that being created for security has established itself as a great defender of rights and freedoms enshrined in the Constitution," he said. Also, De la Fuente encouraged them to stay in the province of Burgos to develop their professional career once they finish this phase of their learning.
The internship period is an extension of the instruction process and that, once the opposition is approved, begins at the National Police School of Ávila. There they receive a complete training that also involves a continuous evaluation that they must overcome to start these practices. The training plans for entry into the National Police are designed in such a way as to enable them to carry out, with professionalism and efficiency, the functions entrusted to the National Police as a public service.
The materialization of the practices is decided through a tutorial follow-up plan aimed at evaluating the suitability of the new agents for the exercise of the police profession.
During the coming months and until the summer of 2024, the policemen in practice of the XXXVIII Promotion of Basic Scale will be part of the staff of Burgos and Local Police Stations, with the purpose and purpose of knowing and working together with the policemen that make up the different units to perform in the future the service that falls within the scale to which they will belong. They will serve together with the other National Police officers assigned to the different units and carry out a rotation by the various groups of Judicial Police, Citizen Security, Office of Complaints, Foreigners, Scientific Police, Documentation and Information.
