The Government grants 387,558 euros to the Zamora Provincial Council for performances in Otero de Boda, Ayoó de Cristal and Ferreras de Arriba
Calzadilla de Tera has declined to access the grants
June 26, 2023.- The Territorial Political Ministry has granted the Provincial Council of Zamora a grant of 387,311 euros for the municipalities of Otero de Boda, Ferreras de Arriba and Ayoó de Cristal. These subsidies are intended to alleviate the damage caused by the forest fires that occurred in June 2022.
At the Council of Ministers held on 27 June last year, it declared areas seriously affected by a civil protection emergency in part of the province of Zamora as a result of the fires that occurred in June. In this way, a line of subsidies was convened whose objective was the repair or restitution of infrastructure, equipment, facilities and services of municipal and communal ownership, as a result of natural disasters, as well as road networks of provincial councils.
Of the 387,311 euros granted to the County Council of Zamora, 355,558 euros have been approved for the City Council of Otero de Boda. The Consistorio de Ferreras de Arriba will receive 21,159 euros while the Ayoó de Cristal will receive 10,593 euros. The City Council of Calzadilla de Tera has been excluded from this aid due to withdrawal as well as Riofrio de Aliste for not meeting some of the requirements for which this aid is granted.
The County Council of Zamora, in its capacity as beneficiary entity, may approve instructions specifying the period and form in which the executing entities must send them the information they need to ensure compliance with the basis that regulates this aid.
