The Local Security Board launches a Comprehensive Plan to coordinate the actions of all FCSEs during the holidays
The Fairs and Festivities of San Pedro start 2023
June 22, 2023.- The Local Board held this morning in the City Hall this morning has given the green light to the Integral Security Plan that will coordinate the work of the Municipal Police, National Police and Civil Guard during the celebration of the Fairs and Festivities of San Pedro that begin this afternoon.
The Government’s deputy delegate has stressed the importance of this joint plan that will ensure the safety of the Zamorans and the numerous visitors expected for these holidays.”although with the experience we have, we know that the people who come to Zamora these days are not conflictive or dangerous people and therefore the planned deployment is always preventive to avoid that there are disturbances of public order, any type of violence, sexual assaults or certain crimes”.
Ángel Blanco also stressed that the Strategic Police Response Plan for drug use and retail traffic in entertainment venues will be implemented, in addition to street patrols. An extraordinary device that however will not alter the one that is normally maintained in the neighborhoods furthest from the center: “We are not going to leave any neighborhood unprotected, just as we are not going to neglect cybercrime, which is becoming increasingly important. We will continue to pay attention to social networks to prevent any type of computer crime from occurring”.
The Civil Guard will also be immersed in this Comprehensive Security Plan for San Pedro 2023 with a special device for traffic control, drug and alcohol testing at entry and exit points to Zamora. Citizen security controls will also be established in the towns near the capital: “In addition to the drone equipment we have, we have requested a helicopter to León that will arrive shortly”, according to Angel Blanco.
The deputy delegate has appealed to the citizens and specifically to the almost 3,000 components of the more than 50 rocks that will fill the Zamoran streets these days: “for everyone to have fun but in a controlled way and for these holidays to run as normal as ever”.
