June 1, 2023.- Lieutenant Colonel Benito Donate Córcoles is the new head of the Command of the Civil Guard of Segovia.
Lieutenant Colonel Donate, who joined his new post this week, held today with the Government’s deputy delegate in Segovia, Lirio Martín, his first working meeting, in which they addressed the main issues related to the Civil Guard in the province.
Benito Donate Córcoles was born in Albacete in July 1975, where he lived until he obtained the employment of lieutenant in the year 2000. Married and with three children, he had his first destination in the Company of Gandía (Valencia) until 2001.
From 2002 to 2005 he was assigned to the Security Service of the House of His Majesty the King.
From 2005 to 2008 he was a professor/instructor at the Academy of Officers, to pass later and until 2014 to the Traffic Group, with a small period in Service Commission at the command of the Sector of Castilla y León.
Graduated in General Staff, he was assigned in 2014 to the General Staff of the Civil Guard as Chief of Section and Chief Coordinator of the development of the SIGO (Integral System of Operational Management). This computer system manages most of the daily operations of the Civil Guard and is a reference from the point of view of applications for police use. This system had its pilot phase of experience in the Segovia Command 2005.
Among the courses with which are the Judicial Police, Protection of Persons, Traffic, General Staff and Administrator SIGO.
Benite Donate Córcoles replaces Colonel José Luis Ramírez in the leadership of the Segovia Command, who has remained in this position since September 2016 and until recent dates.
