May 10, 2023.- Once the selection process corresponding to the public offer of permanent staff convened by Resolution of the Secretary of State of the Public Service of July 29, 2021 has been resolved, nine places have been awarded to the Penitentiary Center of Soria.
The awarded positions include a Social Worker, a Social Educator and a Physical Activity and Sports Science graduate; three Higher Graduates in Cooking; a Technician in Thermal and Fluid Facility Maintenance; a Technician in Electrical and Automatic Facilities; and a Nursing Assistant.
Internship of civil servants
At the beginning of March this Center also received 35 new interns, of which 25 will remain in the Soriana prison to develop their supervised practices.
As announced by the delegate of the Government in Castilla y León, Virginia Barcones, during her visit to the prison of Soria on March 6, where she attended to participate in a sporting event convened on the occasion of the activities programmed by the 8M, on International Women’s Day, “to this staff must also be added four trainees of the past promotion who currently work in the Soriano center, which means that, at the end of this process, the staff of the penitentiary center of Soria will be strengthened with 29 new trainees.”
Incorporation of career officers
In addition to the 9 permanent jobs and the 29 interns, the Penitentiary Institutions forecast is to offer in the next transfer contest the 75 places that are currently vacant in the Job Relationship (RPT) of Soria.
This new staff forecast is proposed with the intention that in the medium term two new residential modules can be opened, in addition to the isolation or closed regime module.
