May 9, 2023.- National Police officers improve their knowledge of caring for people with autism spectrum disorder.
The Autism Segovia Association has given today a training day, at the Segovia Police Station, in which it has explained to the agents the content of the Guide for Security Forces and Bodies in the care of people with autism spectrum disorder, which it developed together with the Civil Guard and the National Police.
The deputy delegate of the Government, Lirio Martín, has inaugurated the day, after which “the members of the Security Corps will have more knowledge and tools to act in the best possible way with people with ASD”. He was accompanied by the Chief Commissioner of the National Police of Segovia, Miguel Ángel Martínez.
