Valladolid, May 4.- The Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda, through the General Directorate of Housing and Land, has signed an agreement with the Junta de Castilla y León and the City of Peñafiel, in the province of Valladolid, for the rehabilitation, in a first phase, of 115 homes, all privately owned, in the residential environment Historic Complex.
Of the total budgeted of 3.2 million euros to carry out these actions, Mitma will contribute 2.1 million euros from NextGenerationEU funds within the framework of the Transformation and Resilience Recovery Plan (PRTR).
The Junta de Castilla y León will directly grant the subsidies to the city of Peñafielense for reasons of social, economic and environmental interest.
The council will act as the management entity of the works of the environment and will publish a call for non-competitive concurrence for the selection of the properties subject to rehabilitation. Likewise, it will tender both rehabilitation office services and urban regeneration works through the open procedure set forth in the Public Sector Contracts Act, which will guarantee the principles of concurrence and transparency.
These agreements are part of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan’s Neighborhood Residential Rehabilitation Assistance Program, which provides for the transfer of up to 2.97 billion euros to autonomous communities and cities in three annuities to finance this type of intervention in homes, residential buildings and neighborhoods.
