Toledo.- The delegate of the Government, Milagros Tolón, has highlighted the impulse that the different ministries are giving to the recovery and reconstruction of the areas affected by the DANA in Castilla-La Mancha, "proof of the commitment of the Executive of Pedro Sánchez with our region and with the neighbors of our community."
Milagros Tolón has highlighted the work that the Ministry of Agriculture is carrying out in Mira, Letur and the nearby municipalities to restore agricultural roads “and facilitate the access of farmers to their farms so that they can recover normality as soon as possible”.
Drag removal
In addition, this week the Safe Hydrographic Confederation has begun emergency works for the repair of the damage caused by the DANA in Letur. The actions have begun by removing the drags from the Letur stream so that it can gradually move forward in the rest of the tasks.
Once this first task has been completed, the machinery and the workers will carry out tasks such as repairing the Letur stream’s waterway, restoring service roads and motorcycles to the Letur stream, as well as removing drags and rebuilding the wall of the Dehesa de Letur promenade.
All these works will have their own financing from the CHS with a budget of € 1,976,000, after approving the emergency declaration of these tasks. With this cataloguing, the basin agency aims to speed up the rehabilitation of the Hydraulic Public Domain so that it can restore, in the shortest possible time, to its usual state the socioeconomic activity of the municipality. The work is carried out by the public company Tragsa under the technical supervision of the CHS and coordination with the City of Letur.
