Alabcete.- The delegate of the Government of Spain in Castilla-La Mancha, Milagros Tolón, has valued the institutional collaboration that allows to organize the device of the Albacete Fair and that it develops with security and normality.
He pointed this out during the visit he made to the operative deployed during these days at the Fair, where he assured that the common objective of cooperation between the administrations involved is that the residents of Albacete and the thousands of visitors attracted by the fair enjoy the festivities without worries.
Milagros Tolón has highlighted the great police device, of which the National Police and Civil Guard are part, which will ensure citizen security during the Albacete Fair, declared a Festival of International Tourist Interest, which is held from September 7 to 17.
The delegate explained that the National Police will carry out surveillance, control, prevention and intervention in case it is necessary to restore order or act before the commission of any crime. For its part, the Civil Guard will be in charge of the control in the accesses to the city, security in the nearby localities and surveillance of the roads of its competence.
Milagros Tolón has highlighted the work of the Government of Spain through the State Security Forces and Corps “in a joint and coordinated effort with Local Police, Firefighters, Civil Protection, Health Services, Private Security and other services involved in the device”.
Finally, it has called on the citizens to enjoy the festivities responsibly and following the instructions of the members of the device, which has canine units, cavalry, prevention and reaction unit and drones among other units of the National Police, in addition to the deployment also of the Civil Guard in its area of competence.
The Government’s deputy delegate, Miguel Juan Espinosa, the mayor of Albacete, Manuel Serrano, the Superior Chief of Police of Castilla-La Mancha, Javier Pérez Castillo, the provincial commissioner of the National Police, Antonio Bueno, and colonel head of the Civil Guard Command in Albacete, Jesús Manuel Rodrigo, have also participated in the visit.
