The Government, on the proposal of the Ministry of Education, Vocational Training and Sports, has approved in the Council of Ministers on Tuesday the distribution of 45,495,311 euros to Castilla-La Mancha to develop Vocational Training actions aimed at the active population.
In particular, Castilla-La Mancha will receive 36,538,433 euros aimed at improving the training offer for unemployed workers; 7,653,802 euros for the training of employed workers; and another 1,303,075 euros aimed at the activation of specific programs called by the region itself, both for employed and unemployed workers.
The delegate of the Government in Castilla-La mancha region, Milagros Tolón, has pointed out that in this way “the impulse of the Government of Spain is transferred to our region to the new system of Professional Training” that offers a wide variety of training of different typology and duration, creditable and cumulative, in order to adapt to the needs and circumstances of the workers.
More than 867 million euros for the autonomous communities
In total, the Autonomous Communities will receive 867.28 million euros from the General State Budgets, of which 696.5 million euros will be allocated to training for unemployed workers; 145.9 million for formations of employed workers; and another 24.8 million to specific programs convened by the CCAA, for both employed and unemployed workers.
For their part, the autonomous communities are committed to developing the actions between January 1, 2024 and December 31, 2025. These must be aimed at the needs of the labour market in relation to the actions linked to the national system of Vocational Training.
The distribution of this amount was recently approved by the communities at the Sectoral Conference of the System of Qualifications and Vocational Training for Employment under the Ministry.
