Tomelloso (Ciudad Real).- The delegate of the Government of Spain in Castilla-La Mancha, Milagros Tolón, participated this Tuesday in the Meeting of Commanders of the Civil Guard in Castilla-La Mancha, which took place in the Virgen de las Viñas Winery in Tomelloso (Ciudad Real) and in which the latest data of infractions have been analyzed and measures of response to crime have been put in common.
Milagros Tolón has valued the slight decrease in crime in the first six months of the year in Castilla-La Mancha, being more pronounced in cybercrime, with a decrease of 2.29%, while the national average has grown by 11.30% in the first half of the year with respect to the same period of the year 2023.
The delegate of the Government congratulated the commanders of the Civil Guard for the work they have been doing, being the data a stimulus to continue working for the security of the municipalities of Castilla-La Mancha and in the defense of the rights and freedoms of the citizens of the Autonomous Community.
“It is important to maintain this type of meetings to plan the joint action of all provincial commanders and the units that make up the Civil Guard in our region since the effectiveness of this coordination work results in the improvement of our security and the well-being of the neighbors of Castilla-La Mancha,” said the delegate.
The meeting was attended by the deputy delegate of the Government in Ciudad Real, David Broceño; the head of the Second Zone of the Civil Guard, brigadier general, Francisco Javier Cortés, and those responsible for the five commanders of the Benemérita in the region, among others.
The objective of these meetings, which take place on a regular basis, is the sharing of the situations addressed by the Civil Guard in Castilla-La Mancha in order to offer a common, coordinated and efficient response to the challenges of security, prevention and response to crime.
The day was held at the Cooperativa Virgen de las Viñas de Tomelloso, whose president, Rafael Torres, the delegate thanked the hospitality and the welcome for the celebration of this working session that has been completed with a visit to the winery facilities.
