Albacete. The delegate of the Government of Spain in Castilla-La Mancha, Milagros Tolón, said on Wednesday that the Campollano Business Park is a “collective success” that, after half a century of activity, “continues to generate wealth, employment and growth in Albacete, in its province and throughout Castilla-La Mancha”.
He said so during the event commemorating the 50th anniversary of the creation of this business space that, organized by the Association of Entrepreneurs of Campollano (ADECA), took place in Albacete and attended by local, provincial and regional authorities, with the presence of the president of Castilla-La Mancha, Emiliano García-Page.
“We Castilians have many reasons to be proud of this land”, said the delegate, for whom the dynamism of this business park, “the commitment of its promoters, the path traveled and the prosperity that augurs its future are undoubtedly one of them”.
Milagros Tolón has had a memory for the “pioneers”, led by Ángel García, as the main promoter, who made possible this business park, which has become “a symbol of the greatest advance, social, industrial and economic that our country has had in all its history, thanks to the stability, security and guarantee provided by the Constitution of 78”.
A project with alma
The government delegate said that this is a project “with a soul” that is born “from an effort to improve people’s lives and to be better; but also with a clear intention to take advantage of the talent here, the drive of local entrepreneurs and the potential of raw materials and products made in Castilla-La Mancha. In short, believing in ourselves.” For all, “Campollano is, without a doubt, a sign of identity for our Autonomous Community”, he stressed.
In his speech, in which he highlighted the work of ADECA and its president, Santos Prieto, he highlighted “business excellence” and the link with the society of Albacete as fundamental elements for the success of these 50 years, a combination that “increases the competitive capacity of Castilla-La Mancha”.
“The transformative and modernizing spirit of its beginnings has remained alive and today this industrial area is a reference in technological development and economic expansion”, who has stressed that in overcoming the challenges of the future “you have the support of the Government of Spain through the various support programs for companies”.
In this regard, he referred to the Regional Incentives, which has involved an investment of more than 80 million euros in Castilla-La Mancha in the last two years, and the Recovery Plan, from which more than 35,000 companies and citizens are already benefiting, with more than 1.5 billion euros already in circulation in Castilla-La Mancha.
The 50th anniversary event of the Campollano Business Park was also attended by the government’s deputy delegate in Albacete, Miguel Juan Espinosa; the mayor of Albacete, Manuel Serrano; and the president of the Albacete Provincial Council, Santiago Cabañero, among other authorities.
