Pueblo Nuevo del Bullaque.- The delegate of the Government of Spain in Castilla-La Mancha, Milagros Tolón, has participated in the annual meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Cabañeros National Park, held in Pueblo Nuevo del Bullaque, in the province of Ciudad Real. It has been accompanied by the deputy delegate of the Government of Spain in the province of Ciudad Real, David Broceño. Meeting chaired by the president of the Board of Trustees, Benito Garrido.
Milagros Tolón thanked the welcome and stressed that it was very important to be at the meeting “to know the sensitivities of each one, as well as to make available to the Cabañeros National Park, a spectacular place, everything that the Government of Spain can do”.
The Cabañeros National Park, which extends between the provinces of Ciudad Real and Toledo, has in the era of the berrea the moment that receives the most visits, in addition to Holy Week and the beginning of spring.
At the meeting, among other issues, the Park management report has been brought to the attention of the attendees and the Plan of Activities for 2024 has been presented.
Among the attendees of the Board of Trustees were the director of National Parks, Javier Pantoja; representatives of the Board of Communities of Castilla-La Mancha; of the municipalities of Alcoba, Horcajo de los Montes, Retuerta del Bullaque, Los Navalucillos and Hontanar; of Seprona, of conservationist groups and of private properties.
