Quintanar del Rey (Cuenca).- The delegate of the Government of Spain in Castilla-La Mancha, Milagros Tolón, attended this Friday the institutional event organized by the Board of Communities on the occasion of March 8, International Women's Day, which took place in Quintanar del Rey (Cuenca) presided over by the regional president, Emiliano García-Page.
In response to the media, Milagros Tolón has conveyed his congratulations to the women in this commemoration and has confirmed the commitment of the Government of Spain to continue “breaking glass ceilings” and improving the conditions and rights of women.
Milagros Tolón has pointed out that “much remains to be done”, but has highlighted the measures of the Government of Spain in socio-labor matters, such as the increase in the minimum wage or the increase in indefinite hiring “that have mainly benefited women”.
