The Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility has awarded with a budget of 96.55 million euros (VAT included), the contract for works on the A-32 Linares - Albacete motorway for the stretch between the Link with the CM-313 and Balazote Oeste, in the province of Albacete. With the 16.8 km of the new route, progress continues in the materialization of the A-32 corridor. Proof of this continuous impulse is that on December 22, 2022, the section between Villacarrillo and Villanueva del Arzobispo was put into service, totaling 57.6 km of new A-32 motorway put into service since December 2019 in the provinces of Albacete and Jaén. The section "Link to the CM-313- Balazote Oeste" object of this award has a length of 16.8 km. Along the route, 4 links will be built:
* About 720 m from the origin, the link is provided with the autonomous road CM-313, through which the towns of Tiriez and San Pedro are accessed. It is equipped with 2 roundabouts on both sides of the motorway, allowing all movements between the A-32 and the CM-313.
* In the km 6,900 the second link, trompa type, is projected with a roundabout on the N-322 road, allowing all the movements between it and the A-32.
* The third link is equipped with two roundabouts on both sides of the motorway and allows all movements with the A-32, giving access to the towns of Balazote and San Pedro.
* The fourth link, equipped with two roundabouts, is located at km 14,200, connecting with the N-322 road. In terms of structures, a 215 m viaduct will be built on the Jardin River, another 75 m on the Mirón River; 4 upper steps for roads, and 2 more for a branch of the Balazote link with the N-332 and for the service road; and 2 lower steps of roads and 3 other roads.
In addition, it is planned to replace 25 agricultural roads, the realization of a variant of the N-322 road in the area of the Jardin River and a service road that gives continuity to the N-322 in the Albacete direction until connecting with the service road planned in the future Balazote West - Albacete section, whose drafting contract was tendered in September 2022.
