Albacete, October 2, 2023.- The deputy delegate of the Government in Albacete, Miguel Juan Espinosa, accompanied by the provincial chief commissioner, Antonio Bueno, presided this morning the commemorative acts of Los Angeles Custodios, Patron of the National Police Force.
The subdelegate of the Government in Albacete, Miguel Juan Espinosa has pointed out that “this is a day where the work of this whole group is collected, where we reward and recognize the value of the Police”, and has also stated that “Castilla-La Mancha has a very low crime rate, below the National average, and Albacete still has a lower rate”.
Espinosa has highlighted the important work of this body, being a large family “on the other side of every policeman, there is a father, a mother or a woman, who is always waiting, so this work is not only about a uniformed person.”
In the act, a total of 13 badges have been awarded, all of them of white color, thanks to the work to maintain order and security in the province of Albacete.
The deputy delegate of the Government congratulated all the honorees and referred to the excellent work carried out by the five brigades that are part of the Provincial Commissariat: Citizen Security, Judicial Police, Scientific Police, Information and Foreigners, as well as their various officials.
The Chief Commissioner of the National Police in Albacete, Antonio Bueno, said that it is “a date that of the Patron Saints of the body that all the police carry both in the memory, as well as in the heart”, said Bueno, adding that on this date so marked “we reaffirm our commitment to the society of Albacete”.
“A job without rest in the face of the challenges posed by security,” he said, and that is that, despite having crime rates below the national average in Albacete, crimes related to new technologies are especially concerned. Thus, Antonio Bueno indicated that “we must never settle for what we already have, but we must work as a human body, in unison for that reason we are the National Police Force”, while praising “the organic structure of our body to combat new forms of crime, especially computer crime”.
The event has been attended by numerous judicial, civil and military authorities, as well as representatives of various business sectors and neighborhood associations.
