Cuenca.- The Subdelegation of the Government in Cuenca, through the Unit against Violence against Women, has organized this week a series of days with the aim of promoting training and coordination in the use of the Viogen System. The sessions have been designed in collaboration with the Civil Guard Command and have been developed in the demarcations of the three companies: Tarancón, Motilla del Palancar and Cuenca.
The objective of the meetings is to promote coordination between professionals who intervene with victims in cases of gender violence at the provincial level, in order to improve care for victims, as well as to train Women's Centers in the use of the Viogen System, a key tool in the protection of victims.
The Deputy Delegate of the Spanish Government in Cuenca, Mª Luz Fernández Marín, accompanied by the lieutenant colonel, head of the Command of the Civil Guard of Cuenca, Mª Jesús Pascual, has insisted on the “need for collaboration and coordination between all the agents involved in gender violence”, as well as the “training of professionals who are in direct contact with the victims”.
In addition, the Equality Delegation and the Social Welfare Delegation of the JCCM participated in the conference, as well as the participation of the head of the Subdelegation of the Government of the Unit against Violence against Women, professionals of the Civil Guard, Local Police, Social Services, Psychosocial Team (LOPIVI), Emergency Center and Women’s Centers, as well as the Aserco Association as manager of the Center for Attention to Victims.
