Toledo.- The Subdelegation of the Government of Toledo begins tomorrow its program of events on the occasion of the celebration of the ‘Open Administration Week’.
These days, which will be held throughout Spain from 20 to 24 March, have as their main objective to bring the Public Administrations closer to the citizens, making known the different services they provide both in person and electronically, the latter being the most relevant, since they allow greater agility in the administrative procedures and save time to citizens by not having to travel.
The first activity scheduled by the Government Subdelegation in Toledo will take place tomorrow, at 10.30 a.m., in the conference room of the Government Delegation, and will consist of a conference under the title: ‘Maps at your fingertips and Natural risks’, aimed at young people, from high school to university, as well as citizens interested in the use of cartography and/or natural risks (professionals, hiking, mountaineering, etc. ).
The briefing will be given by Juan José Pez, director of the Regional Service of the National Geographic Institute in Castilla-La Mancha, and Valentín del Hierro, head of the Territorial Civil Protection Unit in Castilla-La Mancha.
During the session we will report on the use of cartographic and image viewers of the National Geographic Institute for pc and mobile, the elaboration of on-demand maps and location of diverse data in the territory, as well as the resolution of the main natural risks in our environment and consultation of information.
In the activities scheduled for tomorrow and Wednesday, in addition to the conferences scheduled, the mechanisms of identification before the Administration such as obtaining the digital certificate or the electronic ID will be explained and facilitated, using the Cl@ve system for the online management of files, consultations or information with the General Administration of the State and autonomous bodies such as Finance, Social Security or Traffic.
On Tuesday afternoon, at 7 p.m., the conference room of the Government Delegation will host a conference open to the public, by the writer Rafael del Cerro Malagón, under the title: ‘The Government Delegation in the heart of Toledo. history and images of Zocodover Square’.
Finally, on Wednesday, 22nd, at 10.30 a.m. in the conference room of the Government Delegation, there will be an informative session of the program ‘The Administration near you’, aimed at the neighborhood groups of elderly people of Toledo.
The session, which is eminently practical, will report on the different procedures that can be carried out from the Portal of the General Access Point of the General Administration of the State (https://administracion.gob.es/) and from the Citizen Folder (https://sede.administracion.gob.es/carpeta/).
Likewise, the Cl@ve identity system will be explained, as a means of identification to be able to carry out electronic administration procedures, and the citizens attending this session will be able to process at that time the obtaining of their digital certificates.
The program ‘The Administration near you’, is currently being carried out in the municipalities of the province of Toledo to make people aware of the different integrated units and services that make up the Subdelegation of the Government of Toledo, as well as explain the remote procedures that can be carried out.
In the first three months of operation in the province of Toledo, more than 30 municipalities have been visited for information sessions and it is planned that this program will reach 189 localities in our province, with a population between 500 and 8,000 inhabitants, which means more than 90% of the towns existing in our provincial territory.
