The Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda (Mitma) has signed the contract for works of "Autovía A-32 Linares - Albacete of the stretch: Link with the CM-313- Balazote Oeste", in the province of Albacete, with a base tender budget of 113.25 million euros (VAT included). The corresponding announcement will soon be published in the Official State Gazette (BOE).
This work continues to advance with 16.8 kilometers of new route in the materialization of the corridor of the A-32. Proof of this continuous impulse is that on December 22, the section between Villacarrillo and Villanueva del Arzobispo was put into service, totaling 57.6 kilometers of new A-32 motorway put into service since December 2019 in the provinces of Albacete and Jaén.
Technical characteristics
The section "Link to the CM-313- Balazote Oeste" has a length of 16.8 kilometers. Along the route, 4 links will be built:
* About 720 meters from the origin is the link with the autonomous road CM-313, through which the towns of Tiriez and San Pedro are accessed. It is equipped with 2 roundabouts on both sides of the motorway, allowing all movements between the A-32 and the CM-313.
* In the kilometer 6,900 the second link, trompa type, is projected with a roundabout on the N-322 road, allowing all the movements between it and the A-32.
* The third link connects to the CV A-1 road. It is equipped with two roundabouts on both sides of the motorway and allows all movements with the A-32, giving access to the towns of Balazote and San Pedro.
* The fourth link, equipped with two roundabouts, is located at kilometre 14,200, connecting with the N-322 road.
In terms of structures, a 215-metre viaduct will be built on the Jardin River, a 75-metre viaduct on the River Myron, 4 upper steps for roads, 2 upper steps for a branch of the Balazote link with the N-332 and for the service road, 2 lower steps of roads and 3 lower steps of roads.
It is also planned to replace 25 agricultural roads, the realization of a variant of the N-322 road in the area of the Jardin River, in addition to a service road that gives continuity to the N-322 in the Albacete direction until connecting with the service road planned in the future Balazote West - Albacete section, whose drafting contract was tendered last September 2022.
