- The government delegate in Cantabria met this Friday with Daniel Vega and the director of Institutions of Banco Santander, Roberto García-Borbolla.
The government delegate in Cantabria, Pedro Casares, has offered the collaboration of the Government of Spain to the director of Faro Santander, Daniel Vega, in the meeting they held this Friday after his recent appointment in office
The Banco Santander Foundation announced last September the appointment of Vega as director of the cultural project for which the headquarters of the financial institution in Santander is being transformed with an action by the British architect David Chipperfield.
The representative of the State in the community congratulated Vega on his appointment and trusted that he will contribute to making this “great project for Santander and Cantabria a cultural reference at a national and global level” once it is opened to the public in June next year.
Casares has praised the trajectory of Vega, closely linked to the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, which was incorporated in 1998 and where he has held the position of Director of Exhibitions and Conservation from 2018 to the present.
The government delegate in Cantabria met with Vega and the Director of Institutions of Banco Santander, Roberto García-Borbolla, at the entity’s territorial headquarters in Hernán Cortés Street in the Cantabrian capital.
