The Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility is implementing the works of the A-67 motorway (Cantabria - Meseta) consisting of the construction of a branch of continuity between Sierrapando and Barreda and the improvement of the links of Sierrapando, Barreda and Torrelavega; in the vicinity of the municipality of Torrelavega, in Cantabria.
These works have a current budget of 141 million euros (VAT included)
In this context, and due to the good progress of the works, from 21:00 hours tonight the new additions to the A-8 will be put into service, between its 227 and 229 km, from Sierrapando; in two senses:
- Sense Bilbao opening a branch that connects the roundabout of the CA-330 in the area of Los Ochos.
- Sense Oviedo/Santander from the roundabout of Bilbao Avenue.
The current incorporation from Los Ochos to the A-67 direction Santander will be canceled.
