The Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility is carrying out the works of modernization of the tunnels of Gedo, Somaconcha, Lantueno, Las Caldas, Riocorvo and Pedredo of the A-67 motorway, all of them in Cantabria, which have a global investment superior to the €31 million (VAT included) financed by the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (PRTR).
In the development of these works, starting at 9:30 p.m. on Monday, March 31, work will be carried out on the fire protection network in the tube of the Riocorvo tunnel, in the direction of Palencia, located between km 176 and 172 of the A-67.
Therefore, and to guarantee the safety of workers and users, from 21:30 on next Monday 31 and, predictably, until 7:00 hours on Wednesday, April 3, the cut will occur in the aforementioned tunnel.
To ensure the fluidity of traffic during this affectation, an alternative itinerary will be enabled, duly signposted a detour on the N-611 road, from exit 176 (at the height of Cartes) until rejoining the A-67 at link 172 (Barros)
