The Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility continues to carry out the works of the continuity branch of Sierrapando - Barreda and improvement of the links of Sierrapando, Barreda and Torrelavega of the A-67 Cant｟｠ -Meseta motorway, in Cantabria.
In the development of this action, the necessary works will be carried out to put into service the new link branch of the A-67 with the A-8, in the direction of Santander/Oviedo, at the height of Torrelavega. In this way, work will be carried out on the placement of a metallic barrier and the painting of road markings in the definitive layout of this branch.
In order to complete this work, it will be necessary, from 21:00 hours on Wednesday 26 to 6:00 hours on Thursday 27 March, to make a total cut of the lanes of the A-67 between km 180 and 181,500 in the direction of Santander/Oviedo.
To facilitate traffic in this area, this traffic will be diverted to the A-8 making a change of direction on the link 225 of this motorway.
All of this will be duly signposted. To ensure the safety of workers and users, maximum caution is requested when travelling in this section during the established time of the affectations.
