The Cantabrian Hydrographic Confederation is developing the work for the elaboration of the Hydrological Plan of the Hydrographic Demarcation of the Western Cantabrian, corresponding to the Fourth Planning Cycle (2028-2033). The Initial Documents, the first phase of this process, are currently in public consultation from 21 December 2024 to 20 June 2025. The second phase of the process involves the drafting of the Preliminary Outline of Important Topics (EPTI). This document will include the diagnosis of the main problems of demarcation and the possible alternatives to address them. To ensure a consensual diagnosis, workshops are being organized with representatives of various interest groups, including local entities, organizations, companies, experts and those interested citizens. Stakeholders are invited to participate in the Current Status of Important Topics of the Third Planning Cycle workshop. Objectives for the period 2028/2033”, which will be held with the collaboration of the Directorate General of Waters and Ports of the Government of Cantabria. The event will take place on March 27, 2025, from 10:30 to 13:30, in the Auditorium of the Scientific and Technological Park of Cantabria, in Santander.
