The Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility is carrying out the works of modernization of the tunnels of the A-67 of Gedo, Somaconcha, Lantueno, Las Caldas, Riocorvo and Pedredo, all of them in Cantabria, and which have a global investment of more than 31 million euros (VAT included) financed by the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (PRTR).
In its development, starting at 9:30 p.m. on Monday, March 17, work will be carried out on the fire protection network of the tubes of the Gedo and Pedredo tunnels, in the direction of Palencia.
Therefore, and to guarantee the safety of workers and users; from 21:30 hours on Monday 17 and, predictably, until 7:00 hours on Thursday, March 20, the cut will occur in the aforementioned tunnels.
To ensure the fluidity of traffic during this affectation, the detour on the N-611 road from exit 168 will be enabled as an alternative route, which will be conveniently signposted, until it is re-incorporated to the A-67 at link 159.
