The Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility is carrying out the adaptation works of the tunnels of Caviedes, Hoz, Torrelavega (A-8), Gibaja and Limpias (N-629), all of them in Cantabria, which have a global investment of 13.13 million euros (VAT included) within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, financed by the funds of the European Union Next-Generation.
In the course of these activities, work will be carried out in the Hoz tunnel over the next few weeks to implement the waste collection network in tube 2 (direction Santander) from Monday 21 October at 00:00 hours, and in tube 1 (direction Bilbao) from 4 November.
Therefore, and to ensure the safety of workers and users, the following effects on traffic will occur:
- From 0:00 hours on Monday 21 October until 13:00 hours on Friday 25 October, cut the left lane on tube 2 (direction Santander).
- From 0:00 hours on Monday 28 to 13:00 hours on Thursday 31 October, cut the left lane on tube 2 (direction Santander).
- From 0:00 hours on Monday, November 4, until 13:00 hours on Friday, November 8, cut the right lane on tube 1 (direction Bilbao).
- From 0:00 hours on Monday, November 11, until 13:00 hours on Friday, November 15, cut right lane tube 1 (direction Bilbao).
