Participation in the elections to the European Parliament at 14:00 hours in Cantabria stands at 31.42% of the electoral census.
This figure reflects a decrease compared to the 2019 elections, when at the same time the turnout reached 37.28%.
The electoral day is developing with total normality in the 739 electoral tables distributed by the region.
El censo electoral en Cantabria está compuesto por un total de 514.107 electores. Of these, 467,995 are residents of the region, while 43,229 are Cantabrians living abroad. In addition, 2,883 foreigners residing in Cantabria have the right to vote in these elections.
Since the last European elections in 2019, 26,420 new voters have joined the census. Also, since the general elections of 2023, 4,907 new voters have been added.
