The Provincial Police Headquarters of Cantabria, on April 20, received the visit of the primary students of the Padre Apolinar Schools of Santander, Gloria Fuerte de Camargo and Buena Ventura de Bezana.
The 146 students visited the offices of the Police Station, where the police experts of the Delegation of Citizen Participation of Santander informed them of the police work in the Cantabrian capital.
The children were able to see a police exhibition in which the Canine Guides Unit and a team of TEDAX-NRBQ, belonging to this Headquarters, participated.
“Master Plan”: coexistence and improvement of safety in schools and their environments
The visit to the Provincial Headquarters is part of the development of the “Master Plan for Coexistence and Improvement of Security in Educational Centers and their Environments”, with the objective of improving the knowledge that students of the National Police have, the activity that it develops and the work it provides to make the city a safe place to live.
To achieve this objective, the experts of Citizen Participation establish a channel of direct and permanent communication with the educational community and the rest of people who participate in this task.
