The Delegation of the Government in the Canary Islands has today observed a minute of silence before its island headquarters after the confirmation as gender violence of the murders of three women in Seville, Toledo and Barcelona.

The Government delegate in the Canary Islands, Anselmo Pestana, and the Government subdelegate in Las Palmas, Teresa Mayans, participated before the headquarters of the Government Delegation in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

For his part, the deputy delegate of the Government in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Javier Plata, has participated before the headquarters of the Subdelegation of the capital of Tenerife.
