The Delegation of the Government in the Canary Islands has today observed a minute of silence before its seven island headquarters after the confirmation as a case of gender violence of the murder of a woman in Madrid.

The Subdelegate of the Government in Las Palmas, Teresa Mayans, has participated in the event before the headquarters of the Government Delegation in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, while the Subdelegate of the Government in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Javier Plata, has been at the headquarters of the Subdelegation of the Government in the capital of Tenerife.
