The Government Delegation in the Canary Islands has today observed a minute’s silence before its seven island headquarters following the confirmation as cases of gender violence of the murders of two women, recorded in Burgos and the Balearic Islands.
The Government delegate in the Canary Islands, Anselmo Pestana, participated in the event at the headquarters of the Government Delegation in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, where he read an institutional statement, while the Government subdelegate in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Javier Plata, was in the Government Subdelegation in the capital of Tenerife.
