The Government of Spain has called for a minute of silence after the confirmation as a case of gender violence of the murder of a woman in Lugo, an act that the Delegation of the Government in the Canary Islands has joined today before the main facade of all its island headquarters.
The government delegate in the Canary Islands, Anselmo Pestana, has observed the minute of silence before the main facade of the City Council of Santa Cruz de La Palma, accompanied by the island director of the State Administration in La Palma, Carlos García, and by the mayor, Asier Antona.
The Subdelegate of the Government in Las Palmas, Teresa Mayans, has been at the headquarters of the Delegation of the Government in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, while the Subdelegate Javier Plata has kept the minute of silence at the headquarters of the Subdelegation of the Government in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
