The Government of Spain has today called for a minute’s silence following the murder by vicarious violence of a 2-year-old child in Jaén, an act that the Government Delegation in the Canary Islands has joined in front of the main façade of all its island headquarters.
The Minister of Territorial Policy and Democratic Memory, Ángel Víctor Torres, has observed the minute of silence at the headquarters of the Delegation of the Government in the Canary Islands, accompanied by the Secretary of State for Agriculture and Food, Begoña García, by the delegate of the Government in the Canary Islands, Anselmo Pestana, by the subdelegate of the Government in Las Palmas, Teresa Mayans, and by the president of the State Mercantile Society of Agricultural Infrastructures (SEIASA), Francisco Rodríguez.
For his part, the deputy delegate of the Government in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Javier Plata, has observed the minute of silence at the headquarters of the Subdelegation of the Government.
