The Government of Spain has today called for a minute of silence after the confirmation as a case of gender violence of the murder of a 15-year-old girl in Alicante, an act that the Government Delegation in the Canary Islands has joined before the main facade of all its island headquarters.
The government delegate in the Canary Islands, Anselmo Pestana, and the government subdelegate in Santa Cruz de Tenerife have observed the minute of silence in the capital of Tenerife, while the government subdelegate in Las Palmas, Teresa Mayans, has done the same in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
