The Government Delegation in Asturias celebrates Open Government Week between June 11 and 14, an initiative promoted worldwide by the Open Gov Week. The objective of the Government of Spain is for the population to know closely the functioning of the General Administration of the State, in addition to promoting the values of transparency and accountability, citizen participation, collaboration and integrity in the public service.
The delegate of the Government in Asturias, Delia Losa, will participate in all the activities programmed and that can be consulted in this link. The first of these will be on Tuesday. It is a telematic meeting with the heads of the Local Technology Dynamization Centers to share experiences on ‘The Administration near you’, the program of the Ministry of Territorial Policy through which staff of the Government Delegation offers talks on the telecentres of the councils on the procedures of the AGE that can be done telematically.
On the same day the students and students of 1st Baccalaureate of the IES ‘Rosario de Acuña’ of Gijón will visit the port of El Musel to know some of the services provided there and that depend on the AGE: Guardia Civil, Policía Nacional, Capitanía Marítima, Sanidad Exterior, Sanidad Animal o Sanidad Vegetal.
On Wednesday, users of the Integral Care Center of Villalegre will visit the headquarters of the Government Delegation and interview the Government delegate.
On Thursday, a briefing is planned for lawyers from Women’s Advisory Centres to discuss practical issues relating to foreigners linked to victims of gender-based violence. Next, students of the IES Doctor Fleming of Oviedo will attend a talk on violence against women offered by the head of the Violence against Women Coordination Unit of the Government Delegation together with representatives of the National Police and the Civil Guard.
Finally, on Friday self-employed workers will participate in a session in which the provincial director of the General Treasury of Social Security will explain the electronic services of the AGE oriented to the autonomous and the autonomous.
