On the occasion of the day of remembrance and tribute to the men and women who suffered exile, and which is contemplated in the Democratic Memory Law, the delegate of the Government in Asturias, Delia Losa, met this morning with exiles during the Civil War and the Dictatorship and representatives of groups involved in historical memory.
Losa highlighted the need to “not forget what happened so that it does not happen again”: “Memory challenges us to continue building a society free of hate speech and to weave alliances based on respect, human rights and coexistence.”
