The Government Delegate visits ASEAMO’s facilities in Nava

The government delegate in Asturias, Delia Losa, visited in Nava the testing centre of the Spanish Association of Select Cattle Breeders of the Asturian Mountain Breed, ASEAMO, on the occasion of the ascent of the cattle to her farm in Piloña, where it remains until September.

ASEAMO received 71,713 euros from the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries for the management of the Genealogical Book and for the meat yield control program. In addition, it obtained 204,000 euros in aid from the Common Agricultural Policy to support the work of breeding cattle of the Asturian breed of the Mountain.

They have accompanied the delegate of the Government, among others, the mayor of Nava, Juan Cañal, the president of ASEAMO, Nino Rodríguez, and the director of the Area of Agriculture and Fisheries of the Delegation of the Government, Susana González.
