The delegate of the Government, Delia Losa, has participated in the conference ‘The role of women in the economic reactivation in the territories of Just Transition’, organized by the Institute for Just Transition. In her greeting to the participants, Losa highlighted that throughout the morning “two of the maxims that identify the Government of Spain will be put on the table: the ecological transition and equality between men and women”.
Losa recalled that thanks to the efforts of the Government of Spain, since 2019, 550 million euros have been allocated to the regions in Just Transition in Asturias “to boost economic activity”.
The day was attended by the agent in Asturias of the Institute for the Fair Transition, Patricia Zapico, and the coordinator of Fair Transition agreements, Begoña Maria-Tomé, who moderated a table at which the entrepreneurs Ana García, Noemí Barrientos and Begoña Fernández-Costales contributed their experience.
