The delegate of the Government in Asturias, Delia Losa, explained this morning to the neighbors of the area the progress of the actions against noise in the AI-81 as it passes through Corvera, together with the mayor of the council, Iván Fernández, and the head of the State Road Demarcation in Asturias, Mireya Muñoz.
“The Government of Spain that I represent has been the one that has executed such a demanded work for so many years,” said the delegate before detailing that the actions have 2.9 million euros from the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, and “they are going at a good pace.”
The works consist of the installation of 1,769 meters of shielding - of which they have already been placed around one kilometer -, the extension of sound-absorbing pavement and the reduction of the maximum circulation speed to 80 km/h.
