The delegate of the Government, Delia Losa, visited CTIC RuralTech, the installation that the CTIC Foundation has had in Peón for two and a half years and that has the support of the Government of Spain for the development of two of its projects. The visit was guided by Pablo Priesca, the general director of the CTIC Foundation.
The Aldea 0 project receives almost 600,000 euros from the Ministry for the Ecological Transition. According to Losa, it is “very interesting for the Government of Spain because it means rethinking what a village is, which should not only be limited to traditional ways of life, such as livestock or agriculture, you can also live from digitalization in a small population”.
For the Rural SME Accelerator project, the Ministry of Economic Affairs contributes 320,000 euros. It is a platform to support innovative projects in rural areas.
