The delegate of the Government, Delia Losa, met this morning with representatives of the Association of Neighbors of Olloniego to discuss matters of interest to this parish of Oviedo.
Losa reminded them that the action plan against noise on the A-63 and A-66 between Oviedo and Ribera de Arriba (A-63, PP.KK. 0+000 to 4+000, A-66 PP.KK. 25+000 to 41+800, O-11 PP.KK. 0+000 to 0+740) is currently in the drafting phase of the project. The contract was concluded in September 2022 and has an execution period of 24 months. It is a project considered a priority for the Government of Spain and with an estimated budget of about 14.8 million euros that will be financed with European Next Generation funds. Of that amount, the amount corresponding to the stretch of road that runs through Olloniego is about 1.6 million euros. The government delegate in Asturias has detailed that this action plan against noise is included in a batch with 15 other actions in Asturias, Galicia and Cantabria.
The neighbors also showed interest in using the union house of Olloniego, which is currently empty and unused. Delia Losa has explained to them that the building is part of the accumulated union patrimony whose ownership corresponds to the General Administration of the State. Its use may be assigned to trade union or business organizations to carry out their functions, but Law 4/1986 on the Assignment of Assets of Accumulated Trade Union Patrimony prevents the assignment to other entities. However, it is possible to sell it or exchange it after the report of the Advisory Commission on Union Heritage, whenever requested by the city council.
