Alcañiz.- The initiative "The Administration Near You" has today traveled to the town of Alcañiz, specifically to the CAISS (Social Security Care and Information Center), where a training day organized in coordination with the Social Work College of Aragón has taken place.
The session was given by officials of the Government Subdelegation in Teruel and the General Treasury of Social Security (TGSS), with the active collaboration of social service professionals and other agents involved.
On the part of the officials of the Subdelegation of Government, the central axis of the day has been the management of State aid and subsidies, intended to meet needs derived from emergency situations or of a catastrophic nature. During the training, the procedure for granting this aid has been addressed, with the aim of training the group of social workers to effectively support citizens who, due to various circumstances, require assistance in their processing.
The participation has been very active, highlighting the interest of the professional community to improve their ability to respond to this type of situation. For their part, the representatives of the TGSS have exposed the tools available through their mobile applications and website, facilitating the management of procedures in a more accessible and efficient way.
In order to expand the scope of this initiative in a large province such as Teruel, this training day will be repeated next week in the Subdelegation of the Government in Teruel, thus reinforcing the commitment to bring the Administration to all corners of the territory.
