‘The Administration near you’, the initiative of the Ministry of Territorial Policy to facilitate access to State procedures in rural areas, has expanded its portfolio of services with the incorporation of the General Treasury of Social Security (TGSS) and the National Institute of Social Security (INSS). Thus, officials of both agencies, together with the staff of the Subdelegation of the Government in Huesca that had been carrying out this work since 2022, will jointly visit the municipalities that request this service for their neighbors.
The first session with this new format in the province of Huesca took place this Monday in Almudévar, with the welcome of the subdelegate of the Government in Huesca, Carlos Campo, and the mayor of the town, Sofía Avellanas.
Campo recalled that ‘The Administration near you’ is part of “the commitment of the Government of Spain to territorial cohesion and equal opportunities between towns and cities”. The subdelegate invited all the mayors of the province “to request from the Subdelegation a service that can save many trips to their neighbors; in addition to carrying out procedures directly, it allows to obtain the Digital Certificate to make a multitude of online arrangements”.
The collaboration of the Subdelegation and the INSS and the TGSS in the provision of this service will allow citizens direct access to electronic procedures such as the discharge of self-employed workers, the report of working life, the contribution bases, the European health card, the discharge of domestic workers or the request for various benefits.
