The Huesca Security Board, co-chaired by the Government’s deputy delegate in Huesca, Carlos Campo, and the mayor of Huesca, Lorena Orduna, met this morning to coordinate the police device that will ensure security during the next festivities in San Lorenzo.
National Police, Local Police, Seconded Police and Civil Guard will work in a coordinated way to ensure the good development of the festivities. The device will have approximately 160 National Police officers each day, with reinforcements from Zaragoza, Jaca and Canfranc, and will pay special attention to the most multitudinous acts, where emphasis will be placed on the prevention of theft, mainly of mobiles. As a novelty, the Huesca Police Station will have a Foreign Tourist Service during the holidays, attended by French national police.
The Civil Guard will monitor the accesses to the city, while the Seconded Police will ensure compliance with the regulations of public shows and entertainment venues. Both bodies will also be available if their collaboration in other areas is necessary.
The deputy delegate of the Government, Carlos Campo and the mayor of Huesca, Lorena Orduna, thanked the collaboration of the State Security Forces and Bodies and highlighted the institutional coordination to ensure the good development of the festivities. The subdelegate has invited “to enjoy these days of festive joy in an intense way, but also in a responsible way and guided by respect for coexistence”.
Representatives of the Local Police, the Seconded Police, the Civil Guard and the territorial delegation Government of Aragón in Huesca were also present at the meeting.
