The Prefecture of the Pyrenees Atlantiques, through the Subprefecture of Oloron-Sainte-Marie, has informed the Subdelegation of the Government in Huesca of the forecast of traffic restrictions on French territory on the occasion of the fifth stage of the Tour de France, which will run on July 5 between Pau and Laruns, where it will be installed at the finish.
To ensure the safety of the route, several traffic restrictions are set on the French sections corresponding to the Somport and the Portalet:
* On the national road RN134, between Oloron-Sainte-Marie and the Somport (passage and tunnel):
* Heavy goods vehicles will be banned on Wednesday, 5 July from 08:00 to 19:00 hours
* Light vehicles will be banned on Wednesday, 5 July from 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
* On the departmental road RD934, between the pass of the Portalet and Laruns:
* The circulation of heavy vehicles will be prohibited from Tuesday, July 4 at 20:00 until Wednesday, July 5 at 21:00 hours
· As an exception, only tourist buses from Spain will be able to travel to Artouste
