The Special Plan for the Promotion of Agricultural Employment in Huesca for this 2023 will have a budget of 355,658 euros, 5% more than the previous year, which will allow an increase in the number of recruitments. This Wednesday, the Provincial Follow-up Commission met in the Subdelegation of the Government in Huesca with the presence of the subdelegate, Carlos Campo, and with representation from the SEPE, INAEM, the Aragonese Federation of Municipalities, Comarcas and Provinces, the provincial deputation and economic and social agents.
The Special Employment Plan for Aragon allocates credits, from the annual budgets of the Public Service of State Employment (SEPE), to finance the salary costs, including the business contribution, of unemployed workers, preferably agricultural contingents, hired by municipalities and counties to carry out works and services of general and social interest. As for the typology of the projects, these are reforestation works, improvement or creation of green areas and sanitation of waterways and banks, among others.
The meeting took stock of the Special Employment Plan for the year 2022 in the province of Huesca. Since the period ends next month, 23 projects have been carried out, or are being finalized, which have allowed the hiring of 41 people for an average period of three months and two weeks, with a budget of 338,722 euros. The Plan has made it possible to reach 19 municipalities, three counties and a forest community.
The meetings of the provincial follow-up commissions will now be held, the call for applications will then be published in the provincial bulletins, the applications will be studied and a list of them will be made, and the dossiers will then be approved and communicated. The last step will be to communicate the resolutions to municipalities and counties so that they can start hiring in the month of October or November.
