The Government Delegation in Aragón joins the commemorative events of the 8M, International Women’s Day, with a unique initiative that has been launched thanks to the collaboration of the association Trapavientos, National Prize for the Promotion of Reading, and Aragón Radio. All three entities have worked in one sound archive In which women from different fields have reflected on the past, present and future of women in society. “We wanted to give voice to their thoughts and reflections and we have done it in a different way, through the promotion of reading and writing,” explains Rosa Serrano, delegate of the Government in Aragon.
‘Entre Mujeres’ is the title of the poadcast that gives voice to twelve women who through writing reflect on their memories, tastes and desires. “In short, they have put a voice to the past, present and future of many women, because they represent very different sectors of our society,” says Serrano.
Reflections that through a current format pretend to be testimony, as affirmed by María de Miguel, media director of the Aragonese Corporation of Radio and Television. “With this poadcast we also serve as small guardians of experience capsules.”
In addition to the Delegate of the Government in Aragón and the Director of Media of the CARTV and Director of Aragón Radio, Pilar Callejero Cornao, Chief Commissioner of the Brigade of Foreigners and Borders, Beatriz Berné Macipe, Commander-in-Chief of the Judicial Police and Information Office, Cristina Sola Martínez, President of the Professional College of Graduates in Social Work and Social Assistants of Aragón, has participated.
A literary creation workshop in which they have talked about the issues that mark women’s lives: family, work and moments that allow them to experience happiness, fundamentally. “We have agreed on the main aspects, we have listened to committed women who work and fight in different areas for a happy society, with equal opportunities,” says the Government delegate in Aragón.
This sound file that, according to Jorge Gonzalvo, head of Trapavientos “could be the beginning of any literary piece”, can be heard, here, on the Aragon Radio Poadcast platform.
