The delegate of the Government of Spain in Andalusia, Pedro Fernández, has received the new general secretary of UGT Andalucía, Oskar Martín, after his recent appointment, which is why he has conveyed his congratulations and offered to “continue the channels of communication opened with the union to ensure labor rights in Andalusia and follow up the measures adopted by the Government of Spain.”

In addition, the opportunity presented by the approval, in today’s Council of Ministers, of a grant of 50 million euros to the Andalusian administration for the development of a Special Employment Plan has been valued, once the Junta de Andalucía has completed the necessary processing for the signing of the agreement with the SEPE. As well as the public offer of employment, also approved today, with a total of 39,574 places, 15.8% more than in 2022, to reinforce the staffs of the General Administration of the State, the Administration of Justice, the National Police Force, Civil Guard and FF.AA.
Another issue that has been the subject of analysis has been the state of execution of the employment funds distributed by the Government of Spain to the Andalusian administration for the development of actions to improve employment and reduce unemployment. Among these are the 421.4 million euros agreed at the LXXXIII Sectoral Conference on Employment and Labour Affairs.
